This Tuesday, the municipality gave us the opportunity to take part in their event called “Welcome to Blagoevgrad”, where we had our own stand and spent the evening meeting new people and informing about our initiatives in a fun atmosphere. Many young peoplewere interested in the activities at our table, maybe also because of the possibility of winning a prize at our lucky wheel. At some point there even was a small queue in front of our stand. We had activities to offer, besides our informative task: There was a memory game with European countries and a game where the player had to sort a random word into one of our four languages. Before, we already played these games at the youth park, but we really managed to optimize them since then.

The event also included an amazing student performance featuring students from AUBG and South-West University. The programme included dance performances, a fashion show and other entertaining acts, giving us the opportunity to see just how talented young people in the city are. It was also a great reminder of how exciting it is to be part of such a diverse and active community here in Blagoevgrad.

People also had the opportunity to learn more about our organisation, what we do and the activities we organise. We hope that the connections we made during the event will continue beyond this one evening and that we will have the chance to welcome many of these people to our future events. It was a great opportunity to introduce ourselves, share our ideas and encourage others to become part of our activities.

We also had the chance to meet and talk with representatives of different organisations, exchange ideas and connect with people involved in various projects. These conversations opened the door to potential future collaborations and new opportunities to work together, making the experience even more valuable. We are very grateful to the municipality for giving us the opportunity to be part of this event and to connect with the local community in such a positive and engaging way. It was a wonderful experience that allowed us not only to promote our organisation, but also to build new connections and explore possibilities for future cooperation.
