Yesterday our Volleyball Night took place at the Youth Center Blagoevgrad. We were very happy to use the outdoor space from the Youth Center to play volleyball. Thank you for the opportunity. 🙂 With some improvisation and a colorful bunting hung up between two trees we managed to create a “net”. In advance we were a bit stressed about the weather, but luckily it didn’t start raining and the temperatures were perfect to play volleyball outside.

We started with playing in a circle and tried to learn our names. Afterwards we started to play over the “net” and it was a lot of fun. In the end we ate some snacks we prepared. The grapes were especially tasty.

I once again realised how fun making sports with other people can be and that I love team sports. I was very happy that around 20 people joined the event and that we could meet people from Bulgaria, but also Erasmus+ students from Southwest University.

You might ask yourself how the Volleyball Night fits into my personal project about the Sustainable Development Goals. But let me tell you that SDG 3 good health and well-being applies to the event, because we did sports and exercised our bodies. The event also took place because of a cooperation with the Youth Center Blagoevgrad, therefore SDG 17 partnerships for the goals fit too.
