On the 17th of May 2019 at the Lycée de Langue Française Lamartine, a dissemination event was organized by our participants to reflect on their experiences with the Youth Exchange "Yes! GAM-EU: Youth Engagement Strategies and Gamification in the EU" and to promote the values of active citizenship and voting among young people.

Participant Simeon Dragunov engaged 23 young people in discussion as to what voting means to them. Aiming to move away from defeatist phrases like “I can’t change anything” or “it’s a waste of time”, Dragunov’s group focused on differentiating between local and global problems and how voting might tackle these issues. The group disbanded with a new understanding of the function and processes of the European Union, and all committed to researching candidates for the upcoming election.
"Yes! GAM-EU: Youth Engagement Strategies and Gamification in the EU" was a youth exchange wherein 12 Bulgarian participants spent one week learning about and promoting political activism in Brussels, the heart of Europe. The experiences of the participants can be found HERE.
