📌PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Time For Tea-Training Course: This project will gather teachers, youth workers or adult volunteers from 15 different countries who are interested in global learning and youth participation.

The project is in 3 parts:

1. Training course in London, UK (30 April - 6 May 2020)

2. Local activities with children / youth in your home town (May - October 2020)

3. Review meeting and international public dissemination event in Brussels / Poland (November / December 2020 - dates to be confirmed)

The project is in tune with the recent events such as Greta Thunberg’s school strikes and the Extinction Rebellion movement have not only captured headlines but also shown how necessary it is to find new and smarter ways to allow young people to speak out on the issues that matter to them, and to create a workable dialogue between them and older generation decision makers. This is what Time for Tea does, with the added advantage that this dialogue can be located within, not outside, the education process.
