📌PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Youth Exchange "SHARING VS WASTING" takes place in Chiari, Italy. Participants with strong interest and wish to learn more concepts about Sharing economy and Collaborative Consumption (CC) will be gathered together. The idea is to experiment different models of CC in their lives and work. Especially important part for the youth exchange will be financial contribution of "Crowdfunding" realized by the participants themselves.
On YE the most of the participants will already have some experience of Sharing Economy and aim of the project is to promote CC, implement in practice some of the models during the project, produce the manual - "CC for youth work" and spread it widely, in order to give possibility to other youngsters, youth workers and associations to use the same opportunities.
📌AIMS OF THE PROJECT:
➢ Use of CC tools in youth work;
➢ Strengthen Erasmus+ and cooperation between EU & partner countries;
➢ Strengthen entrepreneurship, creativity and initiative of youth;
➢ Promote Creative and innovative tools against the crisis;
➢ Non-formal, peer to peer education;
➢ Work on and practice the concept of collective sharing, CC, social economy;
During the project will be used NFE methodology, based on valorizing the knowledge and experiences of the youngsters.
📌PARTICIPANTS' PROFILE:
We are looking for 18-30 years old, motivated young people, who have some background and interest in the project topic. As the whole project will be carried out in English, we seek participants with basic knowledge of English, enough for communication and for expressing themselves freely. The priorety will be given to participants with fewer opportunities, disadvantaged youth, NEET category, youth with difficulties to adapt to the society.
📌VENUE:
Chiari is a small town in the north of Italy in the province of Brescia. It's located at an altitude of 138 meters above the sea and has approximately 18,900 inhabitants. The city covers an area of 38 square kilometers, it's only a few kilometers from the river Oglio, 25 km from Brescia, 35 from Bergamo, 66 from Milan and 90 from Verona while about 20 km to the shore of Lake Iseo.
📌ACCOMODATION AND SPECIAL NEEDS:
➢ Participants will be accommodated in Youmore Guest House, viale Bonatelli 43, 25032 Chiari (BS);
➢ Everyone will share a room with another 4, 6 or 8 people;
➢ Bathrooms are shared between all of participants;
➢ Breakfasts and daily meals will be provided by a partner Tavern;
➢ Drappo Giallo from Chiari which is 200m. far from the guesthouse;
➢ The project will provide also two times daily coffee breaks;
➢ There will also be a surprise evening for all the participants and a guided tours.
📌INTERCULTURAL EVENING:
Besides you traditional foods, one of the project evenings will be dedicated to the intercultural evening. You will present yur own cultures-national, regional, persional or any kind of culture you fell you belong to. this presentation/activties should not just be a ''lecture'', so try to find some creative way to show your culture. A culture may be resented by a song, a story, a poem, a dance, a game, some local special drinks and food, (you will have the opporunity to cook something if you wish), etc.
You can bring prictures, music or any instrument you want to. If there are some special requests, please do not forget to mention them in the application form, so that we try to accomplish them.
📌COSTS AND REIMBURSEMENT:
The travel, accommodation, food and the program itself are co-funded by the European Union through the ERASMUS+ program. The organizers will reimburse travel costs for the amount showed in the original boarding passes, tickets and invoices, up to the limit of €275. For this reason it is essential that you bring with you and keep all the original tickets and invoices of the travelling.
